Water Lily Raku Vase
Standing 14 inches tall, this Raku piece was thrown on the potter's wheel, using a double wall technique and then carved to produce a vase with ribbons at the top, water lilies around the middle, and scroll work near the base. The white water lilies are floating on a background of blue luster and copper highlights; colors only obtained from the special glazing and firing of Raku. As with all Raku pieces, each piece can never be reproduced and are one of a kind. |
